Stockport’s Halloween ‘Foodie Friday’ festival has been set for Friday October 30th, with attendees encouraged to “dress to distress”.

The monthly festival, which takes over the town’s market and Underbanks on the last Friday of every month, will run from 6pm to 9pm, with nearby bars serving into the early hours.

Vendors will provide food, while many pubs will serve drinks in plastic cups, to allow punters to move around easily.

Supporting venues include the Baker’s Vault, Calvert’s Court, Thread, and Alfredo’s Social.

The Angel Inn, a pub on the marketplace, is closed for renovations, but will run a stall for drinks.

A fire juggler will also perform three performing shows at half past every hour outside The White Lion on the Underbanks.
